Ingredients:)
- 500g boneless chicken
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 2 onions, chopped
- 4-5 garlic cloves, minced
- 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
- 2-3 green chillies, chopped
- 2-3 tomatoes, pureed
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 1/2 cup cream
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnishing
Steps to follow:
- Cut the chicken into small pieces and marinate with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder for 30 minutes.
- Heat the butter and oil in a pan on medium heat. Add chopped onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, and chopped green chillies. Fry until the onions are translucent and soft.
- Add the marinated chicken and fry until it turns golden brown.
- Add cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and garam masala powder. Mix well and fry for 2-3 minutes.
- Add tomato puree and salt to taste. Mix well and cook for 5-7 minutes until the oil starts to separate.
- Add cream and mix well. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or naan.
