  • 500g boneless chicken
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 4-5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
  • 2-3 green chillies, chopped
  • 2-3 tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnishing

Steps to follow:

  1. Cut the chicken into small pieces and marinate with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat the butter and oil in a pan on medium heat. Add chopped onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, and chopped green chillies. Fry until the onions are translucent and soft.
  3. Add the marinated chicken and fry until it turns golden brown.
  4. Add cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and garam masala powder. Mix well and fry for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add tomato puree and salt to taste. Mix well and cook for 5-7 minutes until the oil starts to separate.
  6. Add cream and mix well. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or naan.
